Wow. I Think I Just Stopped Croup Dead in Its Tracks…Naturally.

A couple days before my daughter’s birthday, she developed croup again. Good timing, little Apple! This time, the ringing, seal-like cough was unmistakable. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, then you know I’m an old hand at croup, as this is my 7th or 8th tour of duty. Happy 2nd birthday, Little Apple!

My little girl is two years old! How fast time flies…I remember the day I birthed her so clearly, and how fast my life changed forever. For the better, of course! Today, I surprised her with balloons as soon as she woke up. We told her, “Happy birthday!” And started singing to her. However, as we got to the part where we inserted her name, she said defiantly, “No! I want happy birthday…Daddy!” Meaning, she wanted us to sing Happy Birthday to Daddy, instead of herself.
