As part of my quest to understand and unify the knowledge across all holistic healing disciplines (wow, that sounds lofty), I decided to go in for a consultation with Ayurvedic physician, Dr. Jay Apte of Mountain View’s Health & Nature Wellness Center. Ayurveda is the juxtaposition of the Sanskrit words, “Ayu” and “Veda,” meaning “Life” and “Wisdom, Knowledge, or Science,” respectively.
