Wordless Wednesdays: My New Secret Weapon for Putting My Toddler to Sleep at Bedtime

For some reason, my baby goes from super-hyper to snoring whenever I play this Brahms’ lullaby video for her. Caveat: the eyeball-looking thingamabob in the middle of the video is a little spooky, so what I do is, I go to YouTube on my iPod Touch, play this video, then put the iPod Touch facing downwards on the bed so that she hears the music, but doesn’t watch the video. Took just 7 minutes for her to go to sleep tonight!

Sweet, sweet silence!

Wow, I can’t believe I’m saying this: I LOVE day care! I guess my husband, mother-in-law, and I were doing everything wrong…we’ve been experiencing the baby as a poor sleeper, turning us into daytime zombies in the process. We had a hard time getting her to take naps and sleep through the night. Well, Aria’s gone to daycare for 6 days now, and she naps regularly 3 times a day and sleeps a good 6-7 hour chunk at night, which is so heavenly, I don’t know what to do with myself.
